El presente artículo se encamina a obtener una panorámica sobre la figura deldivorcio, centrando los esfuerzos en el análisis de su comportamiento en el periodo de 2015a 2017 en el sur de Nayarit, específicamente en los municipios de Ahuacatlán, Amatlán,Ixtlán del Río y Jala. Fue necesario revisar las teorías y conceptos de una forma generalsobre el tema para su ubicación y se revisaron cuidadosamente los datos proporcionadospor el Instituto de Estadística Geografía e Informática, así como las del Poder Judicial delEstado, obteniendo hallazgos que hacen presumir que su detonante a la alza, han sido lasreformas al Código Civil relacionadas con el divorcio sin causa, dadas en 2015

This article aims to obtain an overview of the figure of divorce, focusing efforts on the analysis of their behavior in the period from 2015 to 2017 in the south of Nayarit, specifically in the municipalities of Ahuacatlán, Amatlán, Ixtlán del Río and Jala. It was necessary to review the theories and concepts in a general way on the subject for its location and carefully reviewed the data provided by the Institute of Geography and Information Statistics, as well as those of the State Judicial Branch, obtaining findings that make presume that its trigger to the upside, have been the reforms to the Civil Code related to divorce without cause, given in 2015
