    El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad determinar cuáles son los factores más importantes asociados a la decisión de ingresar a una institución de nivel superior en estudiantes de educación medio superior en la Alcaldía de Milpa Alta. Se realizó la búsqueda de información de dicho tema en artículos universitarios en México y en otros países. Se realizó la revisión de literatura de otras fuentes para establecer conclusiones más precisas de dicho tema de investigación. Los factores que más sobresalieron en el estudio fueron: orientación vocacional y la economía.

    The purpose of this research work is to determine which are the most important factors associated with the decision to enter a higher level institution in upper secondary education students at the Alcaldía of Milpa Alta. The search for information on this topic was carried out in university articles in Mexico and in other countries. Literature review from other sources was conducted to establish more precise conclusions of this research topic. The factors that stood out in the study were: vocational guidance and economics.
