Barreras culturales e ideológicas que enfrenta la mujer para su participación ciudadana

    OBJETIVO: analizar las barreras culturales e ideológicas que enfrenta la mujer para su participación ciudadana, y específicamente, identificar los patrones culturales que rigen la participación política de la mujer en la comunidad. METODOLOGÍA: fue un enfoque cualitativo, diseño fenomenológico y alcance explicativo, con una muestra por conveniencia, se requirió la participación de 12 mujeres, la entrevista fue el instrumento aplicado para la recolección de información. RESULTADOS: se encontró, el patriarcado como patrón cultural que limita la participación activa de la mujer, reflejado en roles asignados culturalmente a las mujeres, limitándolas a la vida privada/domestica; el patriarcado incrustado en instituciones sociales, especialmente en el ser de los hombres y mujeres, es decir, lo han internalizado y naturalizado en todas las dimensiones de la vida, la expresión más evidente del patriarcado, es el machismo. CONCLUSIÓN: para crear relaciones equitativas e incluyentes, que favorezcan la participación política de mujeres, es fundamental, tanto mujeres y hombres, realicen procesos de formación liberadora, empiecen a cuestionar patrones culturales que rigen la vida cotidiana e impiden la participación activa de la mujer.

    OBJECTIVE: to analyze the cultural and ideological barriers that women face for their citizen participation, and specifically, to identify the cultural patterns that govern the political participation of women in the community. METHODOLOGY: it was a qualitative approach, phenomenological design and explanatory scope, with a convenience sample, the participation of 12 women was required, the interview was the instrument applied for the collection of information. RESULTS: patriarchy was found as a cultural pattern that limits the active participation of women, reflected in roles culturally assigned to women, limiting them to private/domestic life; the patriarchy embedded in social institutions, especially in the being of men and women, that is, they have internalized and naturalized it in all dimensions of life, the most evident expression of patriarchy is machismo. CONCLUSION: in order to create equitable and inclusive relationships that favor the political participation of women, it is essential that both women and men carry out liberating training processes, begin to question cultural patterns that govern daily life and prevent the active participation of women.
