  Este trabajo analiza la emigración asturiana a Madrid durante la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII a través de los libros de asientos de congregantes de la Real Congregación de Nuestra Señora de Covadonga de naturales y originarios del Obispado de Oviedo, fundada en la Corte en 1742. El análisis cuantitativo de las informaciones geográficas contenidas en los asientos de entrada de los casi 2000 congregantes que ingresaron en este espacio de sociabilidad madrileño desde 1742 a 1808 nos permiten perfilar tanto el aporte porcentual por concejos de aquellos asturianos que migraron a la Corte y se afiliaron a la Congregación, como avanzar algunas notas acerca de los tornaviajes de los emigrantes.

  This work focuses on the study of Asturian emigration to Madrid during the second half of the 18th century. To that aim, the books of seats of congregants of the Real Congregación de Nuestra Señora de Covadonga, founded in the Court in 1742, have been used. The quantitative analysis of the information contained in the entry seats of the almost 2000 congregants who entered this space of Madrid sociability, based on the peasantry, allows us to outline both the percentage weight by councils of those Asturians who migrated to Madrid and joined the Congregation and, through the marginal annotations of the seats relative to the places of death, to offer some information about the journeys of those Asturians who returned to their homeland.
