Transiciones justas para América Latina desde el Pacto Ecosocial del Sur: Propuestas y disputas frente a los pactos verdes hegemónicos

    Vivimos un momento dramático y de encrucijada histórica, en el que se superponen la emergencia climática, la devastación socioambiental, la crisis alimentaria y energética, un incremento de la militarización y el creciente deterioro en las condiciones de vida. A escala latinoamericana, miles de activistas, académicos y organizaciones han impulsado un Pacto Ecosocial e Intercultural del Sur, que ubica los llamados globales a la descarbonización en una agenda más amplia, buscando articular justicia redistributiva, de género, étnica y ambiental en la construcción de sociedades y economías posextractivistas. El presente texto tiene como propósito sumar las voces de varios integrantes que conformamos esta iniciativa y es resultado de la sistematización de encuentros, procesos de articulación y debates que, a lo largo de dos años, hemos sostenido junto a activistas, movimientos e intelectuales. Presentamos algunos de los elementos centrales para una disputa sustancial sobre las formas de hacer las transiciones socioecológicas en clave sistémica y civilizatoria con el objetivo de construir y materializar horizontes compartidos de justicia socioambiental e integral para las comunidades humanas y no humanas.

    We are living in a dramatic moment of historical crossroads, in which climate emergency, socio-environmental devastation, food and energy crisis, increased militarization and the growing deterioration of living conditions overlap each other. At the Latin American scale, thousands of activists, academics and organizations have supported the promotion of an Ecosocial and Intercultural Pact for the South, which places global calls for decarbonization in a broader agenda, seeking to articulate redistributive, gender, ethnic and environmental justice in the construction of post-extractivist societies and economies. The purpose of this text is to bring together the voices of several of the members of this initiative. It is the result of the systematization of meetings, articulation processes and debates that, over the course of two years, we have held with activists, movements and intellectuals. We present some of the central elements for a substantial dispute in the ways transitions are taking place, within a socioecological, systemic and civilizing frame with the objective of building and materializing shared horizons of socio-environmental and integral justice for all, human and non-human communities.
