Resumen: La legislación colombiana, a través de la educación en las escuelas pri- marias, ha procurado señalar la inconveniencia en el uso y abuso de aque- llos productos que crean adicción y afectan el comportamiento y la vida en sociedad. El alcohol, inicialmente, y el tabaco un poco después, fueron los primeros en manifestar el problema; sólo hasta el siglo XX empezamos a escuchar sobre las drogas heroicas y sus negativas consecuencias.

Abstract: Through the education in the primary schools, the Colombian legislation has tried to point out the unsuitability in the use and abuse of those products that create addiction and they affect the behavior and the life in society. The alcohol, initially, and the tobacco a little later, they were the first ones in manifesting the problem; only until the 20th century we began to listen about the heroic drugs and their negative consequences.
