Los trastornos reproductivos con relación al porcino Ibérico y sus cruces son muy importantes por su frecuencia y por las consecuencias económicas y de manejo que conllevan en las empresas que lo sufren. Si bien es bastante habitual la dificultad de enmarcar las causas de trastornos reproductivos de las granjas de cerdo blanco, en este tipo de producciones de cebo de campo o de montanera a las que se refiere el presente artículo, resulta aún más complicado hacerse una idea de los posibles orígenes de los trastornos y de su posible solución completa, a veces, inalcanzable. Este tipo de trastornos reproductivos siempre se suelen relacionar con problemas infecciosos cuando, en un porcentaje muy alto, están asociados a causas no infecciosas.

Reproduclive disorders are very important due to their frequency and the economic and management consequences that they entail for the companies that suffer them in relation to lberian pigs and their crossbreeds. Although it is quite usual the dilliculty to frame the causes of reproductive disorders in the white pig farms, in this type of productions to which this article refers to the productivity of fattening in the field or in the open range, it is ever complicated to get an idea of the possible origins of the disorders an possible complete solution, sometimes unattainable.
This type of reproductive disorders is always attributed to infectious problems when, in a very high percentage, they are associated to non-infeclious causes.
