    El libro Héroes de la retirada. La disolución de ETA político-militar nos ofrece un completo acercamiento al proceso histórico que llevó a la disolución de la organización terrorista ETA político-militar (ETApm), concretamente ETApm VII Asamblea, el 30 de septiembre de 1982. Ha sido publicado, por tanto, con motivo del 40 aniversario de la desaparición de esta rama de ETA, un final lleno de aristas y condicionantes políticos y sociales que bien merecen una obra tan rigurosa como la presente. Se trata de un libro coordinado por Gaizka Fernández Soldevilla, historiador y responsable de Investigación del Centro Memorial de las Víctimas del Terrorismo, y Sara Hidalgo García de Orellán, historiadora y profesora de Historia Contemporánea de la Universidad del País Vasco, en el que podemos encontrar trabajos de prestigiosos especialistas en el terrorismo de ETA.

    The book Heroes of the retreat. The dissolution of ETA politico-military offers us a complete approach to the historical process that led to the dissolution of the terrorist organization ETA politico-military (ETApm), specifically ETApm VII Assembly, on September 30, 1982. It has therefore been published, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the disappearance of this branch of ETA, an ending full of edges and political and social conditions that well deserve a work as rigorous as this one. This is a book coordinated by Gaizka Fernández Soldevilla, historian and head of Research at the Memorial Center for the Victims of Terrorism, and Sara Hidalgo García de Orellán, historian and professor of Contemporary History at the University of the Basque Country, in which we can find works of prestigious specialists in ETA terrorism.
