Resumen de La prescripció d’enunciats de doble possibilitat jerarquitzada de Fabra (1918/1933): el cas de les estructures amb concordança negativa en posició preverbal

A les estructures negatives en què mots com mai,ningú,res, etc. ocupen una posició preverbal, Fabra (1918/1933) considerava que era tolerable, però no preferible, ometre-hi l’adverbi de negacióno, estructura que anomenem «opció secundària». El propòsit de l’article és analitzar com ha estat transmesa aquesta valoració normativa en llibres de text, llibres d’estil i gramàtiques prescriptives,perquè creiem que es podria haver donat una lectura restrictiva d’aquest enunciat a favor de l’estructuraque manté els dos elements negatius, ja que era considerada jeràrquicament superior.

When words like mai,ningú,res, etc. in negative sentences occur in preverbal position, Fabra (1918/1933) considered that the omission of the negation adverb no was admissible, though not preferable. This is what we refer to as the «secondary option». The aim of the article is to show, through the study of the prescription’s transmission in schoolbooks, style manuals and prescriptive grammars, that it may have been subject to a restrictive interpretation in favour of the structure that maintains two negative elements, on the grounds that it was hierarchically superior.
