    Los años 2020 y 2021 serán, sin duda, recordados como años del coronavirus, pero también como los años en que todo cambió. Hoy pensamos que vencimos al coronavirus, pero ¿no es más realista creer que tenemos un control parcial del virus a través del proceso de vacunación? A pesar de la vacunación, a nivel mundial, en las últimas 24 horas del 4 de octubre de 2022, aún ascendía el número de casos nuevos a 200 000, y nuevas variantes, algunas de ellas más letales, aparecen a la vuelta de la esquina. Lo cierto es que en un período relativamente corto el sector médico y farmacéutico fue capaz de desarrollar vacunas adecuadas para curar a las personas infectadas y controlar la propagación de la enfermedad, y esto contrasta fuertemente con el combate de la gripe española en 1918

    The years 2020 and 2021 will, without doubt, be remembered as corona virus years, but also as the years that everything changed. Today we think that we conquered the coronavirus, but isn’t it more realistic to believe that we have partial control over the virus through the vaccination process? Notwithstanding the vaccination, on the 4th of October 2022 amounted worldwide the number of new cases in the last 24 hours still 200,000, and new variants, some of them more lethal, appear around the corner. What is true is that in a relatively short period the medical and pharmaceutical sector was able to develop adequate vaccines to heal the infected people and to control the spreading of the disease, and this in sharp contrast with the combat of the Spanish flu in 1918...
