    La orientación educativa tiene una especial importancia en la actividad educativa desde su epistemología hasta los procedimientos puestos en práctica para constituirse en un eje prescriptivo en las instituciones educativas que permite la intervención de forma sistemática, personalizada y secuenciada en los albores del desarrollo del sujeto que aprende. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo diseñar estrategias de orientación educativa en la perspectiva de mejorar el proceso de enseñanza de los estudiantes de Educación General Básica Superior de la Unidad Educativa 16 de Mayo del cantón Quinsaloma. La investigación se desarrolla mediante un enfoque cuanti-cualitativo, con un estudio descriptivo con la utilización de instrumentos de recolección de información aplicados a los docentes y estudiantes. Los resultados mostraron la necesidad de la incorporación de estrategias de orientación educativa por parte del docente para fortalecer la parte procedimental y actitudinal del estudiante sobre la base de atender su estado emocional y axiológico frente al aprendizaje y constituirse en factor de retroalimentación y acción tutorial de los contenidos socializados en el proceso de enseñanza.PALABRAS CLAVE: Orientación educativa; estrategias; enseñanza; papel del docente; tutoría.

    Educational guidance strategy to improve the quality of the higher basic learning processABSTRACTEducational orientation has a special importance in educational activity from its epistemology to the procedures put into practice to become a prescriptive axis in educational institutions that allows intervention in a systematic, personalized, and sequenced way at the dawn of the development of the learner. The objective of this work is to design educational guidance strategies in the perspective of improving the teaching process of the students of General Basic Higher Education of the Educational Unit 16 de Mayo, of the Quinsaloma canton. The research is developed through a quantitative-qualitative approach, with a descriptive study with the use of information collection instruments applied to teachers and students. The results showed the need for the incorporation of educational guidance strategies by the teacher to strengthen the procedural and attitudinal part of the student on the basis of attending to their emotional and axiological state in the face of learning and becoming a feedback factor and tutorial action of the students. contents socialized in the teaching process.KEYWORDS: Educational orientation; strategies; teaching; teacher's role; tutorships.
