Resumen de La "prorogatio" degli organi di indirizzo politico, dal Governo Ciampi al Governo Draghi
After dissolving the Parliament following Mario Draghi’s resignation, the President of the Republic stressed the need to move forward with the government action aimed at tackling the socio-economic crisis, the war in Ukraine and the consequences of the Covid pandemic. This paper illustrates the powers of both the Government and the Parliament under a prorogatio regime in light of prior experiences and through an attentive analysis of the action of both the Draghi Government and the Parliament following the dissolution of the two Chambers. The author observes a growing tendency to guarantee an ever-greater continuity of Government action in transitions to a new parliamentary term. Such a trend has revealed itself to an exceptional and unprecedent extent at the end of this legislature.
