Resumen de Por una narratología transmedial

En una época en que la narratología se abre camino más allá del límite de los estudios literarios, este artículo plantea la necesidad de mantener un enfoque comparado de los medios que permita, por un lado, reconsiderar nociones fundamentales como la del narrador, el punto de vista, la focalización y, por otro, comprender las especificidades de cada medio en su manera de encarnar relatos. El texto expone asimismo la importancia, mediante este análisis comparativo, de definir los elementos fundamentales de la narratividad, cualquiera que sea la sustancia que transmita el relato. Atendiendo al lugar que goza la forma narrativa en nuestra sociedad, el artículo apuesta, dentro de un horizonte interdisciplinario, por una mejor comprensión general de las formas y las funciones de las producciones narrativas.

At a time when narratology is making its way beyond the limits of literary studies, this article addresses the need to maintain a comparative approach to the media. This approach allows, on the one hand, to reconsider fundamental notions such as that of the narrator, the point of view, the focalization, and, on the other, to understand the specificities of each medium in its way of embodying stories. The text also exposes the importance, through this comparative analysis, of defining the fundamental elements of narrativity, whatever the substance that the story conveys. Considering the place enjoyed by the narrative form in our society, the article advocates, within an interdisciplinary horizon, for a better general understanding of the forms and functions of narrative productions.
