In this article the idea of metaphysical intuition on Miguel A. Virasoro's thinking has been approached. To achieve this, we retrieve some of the author's sources in order to restore part of his readings. The main goal is to establish the origins of the theoretical material from which the Argentinian philosopher builts up the concept. Furthermore, we reflect upon the philosophical significance of the representation of "source" that we found on his works. This pivotal representation served us to understand the articulation between spiritualism and vitalism presented in his thought, uniquely.
