• Uptodate, the European region uses three methods for Municipal Solid Wastes treatment : landfilling, incineration with energy recovery and composting. This last one is being used more and more lately This is because of the separated collection that makes easier to give an adequate treatment to the organic fraction of MSW: like composting.
