    El presente estudio pretende visibilizar los efectos de la práctica de la musicoterapia en personas con Alzheimer. Para ello se ha hecho un seguimiento prolongado en un periodo de tiempo de dos meses en un grupo de entre ocho y diez personas con dicha enfermedad.

    En un inicio se marcaron una serie de objetivos a conseguir en los pacientes. Estos están centrados sobre todo en la mejora y estimulación de la memoria. La evaluación y progreso de los objetivos se llevó a cabo a partir de una tabla de seguimiento que incluye el nombre de cada usuario paralelamente a la actitud y comportamiento que pudo tener este ante las propuestas musicales que se plantearon. Las mencionadas propuestas se basan en una colección de actividades escogidas según el objetivo terapéutico que se pretende abordar (atención, coordinación, estimulación memorística, sociabilización, etc.) Una vez recogidos los datos de cada sesión y concluidos los dos meses de estudio y observación, se hizo un análisis de la información reunida y, en consecuencia, unas conclusiones que responden y reafirman a la necesidad de aplicar esta doctrina en personas enfermas de Alzheimer, con el fin de estimular y favorecer las capacidades físicas y mentales de los pacientes y con ello promover una mayor calidad de vida dentro de las incapacidades que aporta la enfermedad.

    Por último, las conclusiones sobre las diferentes líneas de investigación que tratan la unión entre musicoterapia y Alzheimer y la aplicación real de ello en el presente completan este trabajo.

    The present study aims to make visible the effects of music therapy activity in people with Alzheimer's. For this, a prolonged follow-up has been carried out over a period of two months in a group of between eight and ten people with said disease.

    Initially, a series of objectives were set for the patients to achieve. These are mainly focused on improving and stimulating memory. The evaluation and progress of the objectives was carried out from a monitoring table that includes the name of each user in parallel with the attitude and behavior that this could have before the musical proposals that were raised. The aforementioned proposals are based on a collection of activities chosen according to the therapeutic objective that is intended to be addressed (attention, coordination, memory stimulation, socialization, etc.) Once the data from each session had been collected and the two months of study and observation concluded, an analysis of the information gathered was made and, consequently, conclusions were drawn that respond to and reaffirm the need to apply this doctrine to people with Alzheimer's disease, with in order to stimulate and favor the physical and mental capacities of patients and thereby promote a better quality of life within the disabilities caused by the disease.

    Finally, the conclusions on the different lines of research that deal with the union between music therapy and Alzheimer's and the real application of it in the present complete this work.
