    Estudio crítico-hermenéutico e histórico-comparado de Economía Política sobre la evolución del sector turístico en Europa, con especial atención al caso español. Pese a la importancia económica del turismo y los profundos cambios estimulados por la globalización y la digitalización, sigue sin reconocerse entidad suficiente a este sector, además de estar perdiéndose la oportunidad para su transformación y adaptación al capitalismo del talento. Se emplean los marcos teóricos y metodológicos de la síntesis heterodoxa, combinándose la Escuela Austriaca con los neoinstitucionalistas. Se ofrece finalmente una reflexión sobre la gestión de los fondos Next Gen EU y su impacto en el turismo.

    This is a critical-hermeneutic and historical-comparative study of Political Economy on the evolution of the tourism sector in Europe, with special attention to the Spanish case. Despite the economic importance of tourism and the deep changes stimulated by globalization and digitization, this sector is still not recognized as a sufficient entity; in addition it is losing the opportunity for its transformation and adaptation to talent capitalism. The theoretical and methodological frameworks of the heterodox synthesis are used, combined the Austrian School with the New-Institutional Approach. Finally, there is a reflection on the Next Gen EU funds management and its impact on tourism
