    El objetivo de esta nota es la de proveer un nuevo registro de la danta de montaña Tapirus pinchaque para el departamento del Quindío, como un aporte al conocimiento de la especie y la identificación de sitios potenciales y prioritarios que ofrezcan las condiciones para que sus poblaciones sean ecológicamente viables en el tiempo.

    The objective of this note is to provide a new record of mountain tapir Tapirus pinchaque for the department of Quindío, as a contribution to the knowledge of the species and the identification of potential and priority sites that offer the conditions for their populations to be ecologically viable in the time.
