Resumen de Voluntariedad, justicia y bien común en De contractibus de Pedro Olivi

  This paper aims to demonstrate that Peter Olivi upholds a genuine theory of subjective value in his De contractibus, a consequence of the fact that commutative justice is based on the voluntariness of exchanges. Ultimately, what defines a just price is the common estimate that occurs within a community. In turn, this estimate is the result of private exchanges in which a price is voluntarily agreed upon. The paper will show how this theory is not only compatible with the idea of the common good, but also uses it as the ultimate criterion.

  El presente artículo busca demostrar que Pedro Olivi defiende una auténtica teoría del valor subjetivo en su De contractibus, consecuencia de que la justicia conmutativa se encuentra fundamentada en la voluntariedad de los intercambios. Lo que define el precio justo es, en último término, la estimación general que se da dentro de una comunidad. A su vez, esta estimación es el resultado de los intercambios particulares en los que voluntariamente se acuerda un precio. Se mostrará de qué manera esta teoría del precio justo no solamente es compatible con la idea de bien común, sino que la utiliza como criterio último.
