• From the aluminium recycling process, a waste called Paval is obtained. The majority compound from Paval is the aluminium oxide, which must be recycled due to environment conservation. This paper presents the physico-chemical characteristics of Paval and the different treatments carried out to obtain the residue without impurities. Finally, it shows the future investigation in new applicatons.
