  • As most of those involved in the disposal of solid wastes in sanitary landfills are aware, the Sixth International Landfill Symposium (Sardinia'97) took place last October. The overall quality of the presentations and discussions was superb as reflected by the proceedings. The presentations covered a wide variety of topics asociated with the disposal of solid wastes on the land.
