    Este artículo propone un estudio de la sacralidad en la obra del poeta canario Andrés Sánchez Robayna. Primero, se revisan las distintas teorías que ya analizaron este aspecto de su obra, y se destaca una problemática epistemológica inherente a la crítica existente: se defiende la necesidad de clarificar la diferencia entre una perspectiva metafísica y otra perspectiva fenomenológica a la hora de identificar la naturaleza de lo sagrado en los textos del autor. En un segundo tiempo, eligiendo la vía del análisis fenomenológico, este estudio trata de investigar las mutaciones del yo lírico que se observan en las distintas etapas del recorrido poético de Sánchez Robayna. Se muestra cómo la identidad del sujeto perceptor evoluciona paralelamente a la recepción del fenómeno de la sacralidad, desde el poema de juventud Día de aire (1970), hasta Por el gran (2019), última entrega del poeta sobre la que se hace un enfoque particular.

    This article proposes a study of the sacred in the work of the Canarian poet Andrés Sánchez Robayna. Firstly, it reviews the different theories that have already analysed this aspect of his work, and highlights an epistemological problem specific to the existing critic: it defends the need to clarify the difference between the metaphysical perspective and the phenomenological one when it comes to identifying the nature of the sacred in the author’s texts. Secondly, choosing the path of phenomenological analysis, this study tries to investigate the mutations of the lyric self that can be observed in the different stages of Sánchez Robayna’s poetic career. It shows how the identity of the perceiving subject evolves in parallel with the reception of the phenomenon of sacredness, from the youth poem Día de aire (1970) to Por el gran (2019), the last publication of the poet, on which a particular focus is made.
