Resumen de Autoeficacia y Engagement Académico en estudiantes de la Universidad La Salle de la ciudad de La Paz. Un estudio correlacional

  Resumen La vida universitaria es un periodo de adaptación, los estudiantes se plantean nuevas metas y objetivos. Por ello deben presentar un juicio de sus propias capacidades y necesitan mantener una motivación persistente a sus estudios universitarios. El objetivo principal es determinar la correlación entre la autoeficacia general y engagement académico en estudiantes universitarios de la Universidad La Salle. La presente investigación es de tipo descriptiva correlacional bi variada. Se realizó la investigación a un total de 300 estudiantes, por un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Tanto la escala de autoeficacia general y la escala de engagement académico, fueron analizadas con otras variables sociodemográficas. Obteniendo como resultado final que existe una relación directa positiva con un valor de 0,230 de correlación entre la autoeficacia general y el engagement académico.

  Abstract University life is a period of adaptation, students set new goals and objectives. Therefore, they must present a judgment of their own abilities and need to maintain a persistent motivation for their university studies. Its main objective is to determine the correlation between general self-eíficacy and academic engagement in university students at La Salle University. The present investigation is of a descriptive bi-varied correlational type.. The research was carried out with a total of 300 students, by a non-probabilistic convenience sampling. Both the general self-eíficacy scale and the academic engagement scale were analyzed with other sociodemographic variables. Obtaining as a final result that there is a direct positive relationship with a correlation valué of 0.230 between general self-eíficacy and academic engagement.
