  • Environmental education is one of the main tools for a sustainable city Regarding waste management, selective collection implies active people participation. This article explains the approach of Cordoba city Based upon an EU funded LIFE program. Activities include general education, school activities, adult and University programs. Results of first year show increase of paper collection 34%, glass9%, other waste flows 20-50%. Part of this success is explained by the education and the sound LIFE-SADECO program.
