    ¿Qué es un cuerpo físicamente educado?,¿qué tipo de personas producía la escuela franquista que afirmaba intervenir metódicamente sobre los cuerpos de las nuevas generaciones con el objetivo de mejorar su rendimiento?,¿cómo utilizó el Frente de Juventudes el cuerpo del niño y del joven, a través de la Educación Física, con el propósito de formar la cantera de ciudadanos instruidos para dar permanencia y estabilidad al Estado?,¿cómo se convirtió el lema de mens sana in corpore sano en la base adoctrinadora del Frente de Juventudes?. Éstas son algunas de las preguntas que este artículo intenta contestar. Para ello, se centrará en la Educación Física masculina del Frente de Juventudes entre los años 1940-1960, periodo en el que pasó a ser la Delegación Nacional de Juventudes. En este marco, prestará sobre todo atención a la Educación Física en la Enseñanza Primaria, ya la gimnasia educativa de la propia organización.

    What is a physically educatedbody?What kind of people did the francoism school producedthat claimed to intervene methodically on the bodies of the new generations with the aim of improving their performance? How did the Youth Front use the body of the child and the youth, through Physical Education, with the purpose of forming a pool of educated citizens who would give permanence and stability to the state? How did the motto mens sana in corpore sanobecome the indoctrinating base of the Youth Front? These are some of the questions that this article will try to answer with the objective of looking at the Youth Front from another perspective.For this, it will focus on the male Physical Education of the Youth Front between the years 1940-1960, a period in which it became the National Youth Delegation. In this context, it will pay special attention to Physical Education in Primary Education, and to the educational gymnastics of the organization itself.
