Análisis morfoestructural del estado de Oaxaca, México: un enfoque de clasificación tipológica del relieve

    De acuerdo con un enfoque geomorfológico tipológico y la aplicación de los métodos del análisis morfoestructural, fueron determinados los principales tipos morfoestructurales del relieve del estado de Oaxaca, el territorio mexicano más complejo, desde el punto de vista geotectónico. Los principios jerárquicos empleados en la clasificación tipológica morfoestructural del relieve fueron el tipo de geotextura; el basamento estructuro-geológico; las categorías geomorfológicas; la intensidad de los movimientos neotectónicos; el carácter del modelado morfoescultural bajo el control litológico; el estilo tridimensional de las interrelaciones morfotectónicas entre bloques, y el tipo morfoestructural específico. Como resultado de este análisis se identificaron 87 tipos de morfoestructuras.

    Using typological geomorphological approach and the methods of morphostructural analysis, were determined the main morphostructural types of the Oaxaca State relief, the most complex Mexican territory from the geotectonic point of view. The principles of typological morphostructural classification of the relief were formuled: type of geotexture; structural-geologic basament; geomorphological categories (mountains, hills and plains) and subcategories; intensity of the neotectonic movements; character of the morphoscultural modelling; tridimensional style of interblock morphotectonic interrelations, and specifical morphostructural type. As a result of this analysis were identified 87 types of morphostructures.
