Resumen de La humedad y la vegetación en la península de Baja California

En este trabajo se presenta el análisis de una serie de condiciones de humedad–precipitación media anual, índice de aridez y humedad relativa previo examen de la circulación atmosférica en la península de Baja California, y la distribución geográfica de los diversos tipos de vegetación que existen en la misma. Finalmente se establecen las relaciones entre la humedad y la vegetación de la región en estudio, que resultan interesantes si se consideran las distintas clases de humedad que se tomaron en cuenta, así como las causas que motivan su presencia en la península.

It is presented in this work, the analysis of a series of humidity conditions–yearly mean precipitation, barreness index and relative humidity–previous examination of the atmospheric circulation in the Baja California peninsula, and the geographic distribution of the various forms of vegetation existing in same. Finally, relations are established between humidity and vegetation of the region under study, which result interesting if the different types of humidity taken into account are considered, as well as the causes for their presence in the peninsula.
