Resumen de Algunos métodos para delimitar áreas de influencias de cuidades centrales

En el presente artículo se hace referencia a la teoría de los lugares centrales debida a Walter Christaller. Se presentan también algunas clasificaciones de los servicios y funciones que ofrecen tales ciudades y las categorías y zonas de influencia correspondientes a dichos centros. Finalmente se consideran los métodos utilizados por Neef, Sidall, Smailes, Carter y Caroll para tales estudios.

This Abstract was based on the theory of the central places by Walter Christaller (1933). Its pourpose is to expose the most generalized clasifications in regards to the performance and services offered by the mentioned centers, the categories and the corresponding areas of influence. In resume some aspects of the aplications of this theory and the methods used by several authors such as Neef, Sidall, Smails, Carter, Caroll are presented.
