    Este trabajo se propone abordar la construcción de las agendas y las noticas sobre la pandemia en la prensa gráfica nacional, más específicamente, en el caso del diario La Nación. De tal forma que, utilizando un abordaje metodológico cualitativo, el artículo reflexiona en torno a los sentidos investidos en las imágenes de realidad y representaciones que se construyen en los editoriales y notas de opinión publicados en ese matutino alrededor de la pandemia para, por tanto, dar cuenta del modo en que los/as lectores/as del diario toma conocimiento de la misma. Uno de los resultados principales del trabajo es el de visibilizar el desplazamiento del matutino en torno a los sentidos que construyó alrededor de la cuarentena. Si en un inicio fue representada positivamente, luego se asoció a un instrumento de carácter gubernamental utilizado para avanzar sobre los individuos y sus libertades.

    This work aims to address the construction of agendas and news about the pandemic in the national graphic press, more specifically, in the case of La Nación newspaper. Using a qualitative methodological approach, this work reflects on the nuanced meanings embodied in the images of reality and representations of the pandemic constructed by editorials and opinion pieces published on that morning paper and, thus, give an account of the way in which readers of this morning paper are informed about them. One of the main results of this work is the exposure of the paper´s shift in their representation they built around the quarantine. Initially represented in a positive light, it was eventually associated with a governmental instrument devised to tread on individuals and their freedom.
