La realización de un modelo invertido de aprendizaje o aula invertida (flipped learning) invierte los momentos y roles de la enseñanza tradicional, donde la cátedra, habitualmente impartida por el profesor, pueda ser atendida en horas fuera de clase por el estudiante, mediante herramientas multimedia (MOODLE, videos , presentaciones, etc.); de manera que las actividades de práctica, usualmente asignadas para casa, puedan ser ejecutadas en el aula a través de métodos interactivos de trabajo colaborativo, aprendizaje basado en problemas y realización de proyectos. Con dicha premisa, el uso de TIC fue considerado como un instrumento que permitía al estudiante elegir el mejor método y espacio para adquirir el conocimiento a su propio ritmo, especialmente si el material se encuentra en la Web o MOODLE, transfiriendo la responsabilidad de la aprehensión de contenidos al aprendiz; y al profesor, la organización de su práctica a fin de guiar las actividades hacia la meta trazada.

Carrying out an inverted model of learning or inverted classroom (flipped learning) inverts the moments and roles of traditional teaching, where the lecture, usually given by the teacher, can be attended in extra-class hours by the student through multimedia tools (MOODLE, videos, presentations, etc.); so that the practice activities, usually assigned for home, can be carried out in the classroom through interactive methods of collaborative work, problem-based learning and project development. With this premise, the use of ICT was considered as an instrument that allowed the student to choose the best method and space to acquire knowledge at their own pace, especially if the material is on the Web or MOODLE, transferring the responsibility of apprehension of contents to the apprentice; and to the teacher, the organization of their practice in order to guide the activities towards the goal set.
