    Anlässlich des 50-jährigen Geburtstages der ZGR unternimmt der vorliegende Beitrag eine Standortbestimmung des Gesellschaftsrechts als akademischer Disziplin. Er legt zunächst dar, dass die Gesellschaftsrechtswissenschaft nach Jahrzehnten wissenschaftlicher Blüte in eine Phase der Ausreifung eingetreten ist („saturiertes Gesellschaftsrecht“). Sodann beschäftigt er sich mit der immer häufigeren Indienstnahme des vermeintlich unpolitischen Organisationsrechts für politische Zwecke („transformatives Gesellschaftsrecht“). Schließlich lenkt er den Blick auf neue Assoziationsformen, die Gewinnerzielung und Gemeinwohlorientierung miteinander verbinden („pluralistisches Gesellschaftsrecht“).

    On the occasion of the 50 th anniversary of the ZGR, this article takes stock of company law as an academic discipline. It first explains that company law has entered a phase of maturation after decades of flourishing (“saturated corporate law”). It then looks at the increasingly frequent use of supposedly apolitical organisational law for political goals (“transformative corporate law”). Finally, it directs attention to new forms of association that combine profit-making with a focus on the common good (“pluralistic corporate law”).
