  • Environment Department of Govern of Vizcaya (Basque Country, Spain) has developed an Integral Plan for Municipal Solid Waste Management. The main goal of the plan is to reduce the disposal of wastes in landfill ( 43%) and recycle the 18% of MSW in 2000. This means that Vizcaya will be one of the regions of Europe leading waste treatment.
