  • Resumen
    • At the occasion of the ILO’s (International Labour Organization) cen- tenary reflections on the future role of the highly celebrated organization led to more questions than answers. Only one year after the event Tarja Halonen, former President of Finland (2000–2012), and Ulla Liukkunen, Professor of Labour Law and Private International Law at the University of Helsinki, take a stand in this debate by providing a most interesting volume on the ILO’s role in a globalized world. They succeed in bringing together a group of in- ternationally esteemed authors, coping with central questions of international labor law and beyond. The discourse is opened by two articles by the editors themselves.
