Resumen de La ricezione del repertorio nazionale di canti per liturgia nelle diocesi italiane. Studio e analisi di alcune esperienze locali (status quaestionis)

Valerio Ciarocchi

  • The Reception of the National Repertoire of Liturgical Chants in the Italian Dioceses. Study and Analysis of some Local Experiences (status quaestionis) · The National Repertoire of chants for the liturgy, a useful and reasoned tool for a suitable liturgical-musical animation, has exceeded twenty years of existence and activity. More than ten years after its update, an analysis can be made of its strengths and limitations, but also of its reception in the Italian dioceses. We would say that we can appropriately propose a first approach at least by macro-areas of the country, dividing into North, Center and South, offering a direct observation of some local areas of the three macro-areas, characterized by some peculiarities. We will see if the Repertory has found real acceptance, if it has achieved its objective as an updated and flexible tool, especially if it has stimulated the production of diocesan repertories, where, for example, there are strictly local cults and devotions, which at national level cannot be considered. Finally, it will be understood whether an organic diocesan repertoire has been created in the three dioceses that takes these characteristics into account.
