    Apenas existen estudios sobre la representación gráfica de la muerte por parte de estudiantes de la ESO. Por ello, esta investigación tiene como objetivo ser pionera en abordar dicho tema y comprobar la existencia de diferencias significativas entre imágenes, géneros y explicación narrativa. Con este fin, se evalúa una muestra de 152 adolescentes de 2 institutos de la ESO de la provincia de Granada (España). Para ello, se realiza una evaluación combinada, cualitativa y cuantitativa. Los resultados muestran que existen diferencias estadísticas significativas entre géneros y los tipos de dibujo realizados. Igualmente, la mayoría del alumnado relaciona la palabra muerte con ataúdes, cruces y lápidas. Finalmente, se discute la necesidad de abordar la muerte, como un tema transversal en todos los contenidos de la ESO para su mayor conocimiento, reflexión y un mejor saber vivir.

    There are hardly any studies on the graphic representation of death by ESO students. For this reason, this research aims to be a pioneer in addressing this topic and verify the existence of significant differences between images, genres and narrative explanation. To this end, a sample of 152 adolescents from 2 ESO institutes in the province of Granada (Spain) is evaluated. For this, a combined qualitative and quantitative evaluation is carried out. The results show that there are significant statistical differences between genres and the types of drawing made. Likewise, most of the students associate the word death with coffins, crosses and tombstones. Finally, the need to approach death is discussed as a cross-cutting theme in all ESO content for greater knowledge, reflection and better knowledge of living.
