    The Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) model is one of the most investigated methodological proposals currently regarding the sport teaching-learning processes for understanding the dynamics of the game.Therefore, this research aims to identify the approaches of the scientific productions about the TGfU model from 2010to 2020. A literature review was conducted from ERIC and Taylor & Francis indexes, considering the articles that had one of the keywords "Teaching Games for Understanding" and/or "TGfU" in its title, totalizing 42 articles after the filtering process. As results, it was found that most of the studies sought to analyze the use of TGfU by teachers or applications of the model with students and athletes in different contexts, through interviews and questionnaires. It is proposed that future systematic reviews be conducted on specific aspects regarding the application of the TGfU modeland also considering its variants.

    O modelo Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) é uma das propostas metodológicas mais investigadas atualmente no que se refere aos processos de ensino-aprendizagem do esporte para compreensão da dinâmica do jogo. Diante disso, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo identificar as abordagens das produções científicas sobre o modelo TGfUde 2010 a 2020. Realizou-se uma revisão narrativa a partir dos indexadores ERIC e Taylor & Francis, considerando os artigos que possuíam uma das palavras-chave "Teaching Games for Understanding" e/ou "TGfU" no em seu título,totalizando 42 artigos após o processo de filtragem. Como resultados, constatou-se que a maioria dos estudos buscou analisar a utilização do TGfU por professores ou aplicações do modelo com alunos e atletas em diferentes contextos, principalmente por meio de entrevistas e questionários. Propõe-se que se realizem futuras revisões sistemáticas sobre aspectos pontuais no que se refere à aplicação do modelo TGfU e considerando suas variantes.
