  • Since the second semester of 1993, VAERSA, Valenciana de Aprovechamiento Energetico de Residuos, public enterprise of the Valencian Government in the agriculture and environmental department, has been developing its activity promoting and creating infrastructure for waste management. VAERSA performs all these things lonely or establishing participated companies with public and private capital, considering not only the project and construction but also the starting-up and operation of the plants.
