    El objetivo de este artículo es el análisis del film El impostor (1997) como transposición del cuento de Silvina Ocampo que lleva el mismo nombre, proyecto cinematográfico iniciado por María Luisa Bemberg en 1994 y terminado en 1997 por Alejandro Maci. El concepto de transposición, que permite examinar las transformaciones semióticas y materiales, las resignificaciones, trayectorias y derivas semióticas que se dan en el pasaje de un lenguaje a otro, nos llevará a observar también lo que ocurre en este caso con el género fantástico en el tránsito de la literatura al cine.

    The objective of this article is to analyze the film El impostor (1997) as a transposition of the namesake Silvina Ocampo’s short story, a film project started by María Luisa Bemberg in 1994 and finished in 1997 by Alejandro Maci. The concept of transposition, which allows us to examine the semiotic and material transformations, the resignifications, trajectories and semiotic drifts that occur in the passage from one language to another, will also lead us to observe what happens in this case with the fantastic genre in the transition from literature to cinema.
