En este ensayo nos enfocaremos en la educación dirigida a las niñas, niños y adolescentes, con énfasis en los niños, por tratarse la violencia machista de un problema generado por la mentalidad y forma de vivir de los hombres, que hay que erradicar. Para tener niños no machistas, no hay una receta universal y perfecta, y los avances que podamos lograr dependerán de si conseguimos madres y padres, escuelas y maestros, entes sociales, creyentes firmes y promotores de la igualdad y la no violencia. No obstante, siempre será necesario comenzar el trabajo desde el hogar, como principal campo de lucha contra prejuicios, mandatos y estereotipos. En Venezuela hay un enorme vacío a este respecto, y este material, que recoge la experiencia de otros países, ofrecerá algunas luces, que podrían servir para emprender un proyecto de reformas esencial e impostergable en nuestro sistema educativo. Tenemos que generar ilusión y optimismo por trabajar con los niños y adolescentes, por cambiar su masculinidad, recordando que los hombres que surgirán dentro de quince años son los niños de ahora, que los que dentro de quince años se volverán violadores, son esos niños que hoy están en nuestros hogares y en el colegio. Tenemos que darles a ellos también un nuevo futuro desterrando los estereotipos machistas que perjudican sus vidas, su crecimiento humano. Si no lo hacemos, habremos fracasado como sociedad. Tengamos siempre presente que las niñas no serán libres y felices, si los niños siguen siendo reproductores del machismo.

In this essay we will focus on education aimed at girls, boys and adolescents, with emphasis on boys, because sexist violence is a problem generated by the mentality and way of life of men, which must be eradicated. In order to have non-sexist children, there is no universal and perfect recipe, and the progress we can make will depend on whether we get mothers and fathers, schools and teachers, social entities, firm believers and promoters of equality and non-violence. However, it will always be necessary to start working from home, as the main field in the fight against prejudices, mandates and stereotypes. In Venezuela there is a huge gap in this regard, and this material, which includes the experience of other countries, will offer some insights that could be used to undertake an essential and urgent reform project in our educational system. We have to generate illusion and optimism to work with children and adolescents, to change their masculinity, remembering that the men who will emerge in fifteen years are the boys of today, that those who in fifteen years will become rapists are those boys who Today they are in our homes and at school. We also have to give them a new future by banishing the macho stereotypes that harm their lives, their human growth. If we don't, we will have failed as a society. Let us always bear in mind that girls will not be free and happy if boys continue to reproduce machismo.
