    En el presente artículo nos proponemos analizar el problema de las adopciones forzadas de niños y niñas durante la dictadura militar en Chile, a partir de los testimonios de madres que se encuentran en proceso de búsqueda de sus hijos e hijas. Esta problemática afectó fundamentalmente a mujeres de sectores populares, que sufrieron la sustracción y posterior adopción de sus hijos. Dichas prácticas se realizaron por parte de agentes y funcionarios civiles y militares que constituyeron un entramado complejo con alcance internacional. Este trabajo se sitúa teórica y metodológicamente desde la historia oral y del enfoque feminista de investigación, con el objetivo de aproximarnos a la historicidad de estas mujeres, relevando sus testimonios y sus vidas. Nos parece que visibilizar la problemática de las adopciones forzadas nos permite comprender las complejidades del pasado reciente y las diversas dimensiones de la violencia bajo la dictadura civil y militar.

    In this article we propose to analyze the problem of forced adoptions of children during the military dictatorship in Chile, based on the testimonies of mothers who are in the process of searching for their sons and daughters. This problem affected mainly women from popular sectors, who suffered the abduction and subsequent adoption of their children. These practices were carried out by civilian and military agents and officials, who constituted a complex network of international scope. This workis theoretically and methodologically based on oral history and the feminist research approach, with the aim of approaching the historicity of these women, by revealing their testimonies and their lives. We believe that making the issue of forced adoptions visible allows us to understand the complexities of the recent past and the various dimensions of violence under the civil and military dictatorship
