    El objetivo es analizar las relaciones sociales de género en el archipiélago de Chiloé durante la última década de dictadura cívico-militar, considerando trayectorias de vida de mujeres rurales, el impacto del régimen en la ruralidad insular y en la conformación de una solidaridad comunitaria entre mujeres como resistencia en lo cotidiano. Se analizaron testimonios de mujeres rurales del archipiélago de Chiloé, prensa y documentos de la época. Las experiencias de ellas demuestran una defensa de la vida expresada en la subsistencia sostenible de los cuidados como un ejercicio colectivo, que al mismo tiempo denuncia socialmente el machismo y la división sexual del trabajo

    The objective is to analyze the social gender relations in the Chiloé archipelago during the last decade of civic-military dictatorship, considering the life trajectories of rural women, the impact of the regime on the insular rurality and on the formation of a community solidarity between women as a resistance in the daily life. The work was carried out with testimoniesof rural women of the Chiloé archipelago, press and documents of the time. Their experiences demonstrate a defense of life expressed in the sustainable subsistence of care as a collective exercise, and where machismo and the sexual division of labor are even denounced socially.
