Resumen de El lugar parental: una pista analítica para comprender la familia en situación de trasnacionalidad

Resumen: La discusión que a continuación se presenta frente al lugar parental del padre y/o la madre cuando migran al exterior, pone en juego una nueva noción analítica para entender los procesos familiares dados en la familia en situación de transnacionalidad. Se presenta como un aporte teórico para interpretar las nuevas realidades que viven estos grupos familiares.De esta manera, al abordar el lugar parental de padres, madres, hijos e hijas en el mundo familiar es ir directamente a plantear una discusión frente a la construcción de familia por parte de quienes quedan en el país de origen como del o la migrante; se marca así un análisis donde se busca conocer los cambios y las persistencias de la vida familiar, y asimismo una apuesta teórica y conceptual para entender la paternidad y la maternidad transnacional.

Abstract: The discussion below is presented facing the father or mother’s parental place when they migrate abroad. It puts into play a new analytical concept in order to understand family processes given inside the family in transnational situations. It is presented as a theoretical contribution for the interpretation of new realities these families go through.In this way, addressing the parental place of fathers, mothers, sons and daughters in the family world is raising directly an argument which faces the construction of the family by both, those who remain in the country of origin, and those who migrate; this sets an analysis in which it is necessary to know the changes and persistence of family life as well as a theoretical and conceptual proposal to pay attention to transnational fatherhood andmotherhood.
