    Intentarem donar a conèixer el comerç marítim de Menorca a l’antiguitat mitjançant l’anàlisi dels materials arqueològics subaquàtics que van del segle IV aC al III dC. Observarem com, en primer moment, l’illa es veu copada econòmicament pels comerciants ebusitans. Aquest fet baratarà a partir de la conquesta romana de l’illa, quan els productes que ens arribaran seran itàlics. Al segle I dC ens arriben ceràmiques procedents de la Laietània, de la Bètica i d’Eivissa, però al segle II dC desapareixen dels jaciments els productes cata-lans i d’Eivissa i només documentam materials bètics

    We will try to announce the maritime trade of Minorca in the antiquity across the analysis of the archaeological submarine materials of the 4th cen-tury aC the IIIrd dC We can observe since in the first moment Minorca meets cornered economically for the merchants of Ibiza. This fact will change from the Roman conquest of the Balearics, moment in which the products that were coming to the island were happening to be italics. In the 1st century dC there come products of the south of Spain, of Catalonia and of Ibiza, while, that from the 2nd century dC the material only ones that we find in the submarine deposits are of the south of Spain.
