    Las legítimas dentro del derecho de sucesiones constituyen una de las cuestiones centrales a abordar en una futura reforma de la disciplina y del Código Civil. La reforma de las legítimas deberá partir de tres modelos a seguir, dos de los cuales mantienen la legítima, o bien reducida o bien como legítima- protección de la vulnerabilidad en sede de familia, mientras que el tercer modelo propugna una amplia libertad de testar. Cualquiera de ellos está sujeto a disquisiciones y una labor profunda de debate, dado que este tema afecta no sólo al patrimonio sino a las relaciones dentro de la familia.

    Legitimate inheritance law is one of the central issues to be addressed in a future reform of the discipline and the Civil Code. The reform of the legitimate should be based on three models to follow, two of which maintain the legitimate, either reduced or as legitimate protection of vulnerability in the family, while the third model advocates wide freedom of test. Any of them is subject to disquisitions and labor-deep debate, given that this issue affects not only the heritage but to relationships within the family.
