Producción de artículos de divulgación expositiva en el nivel universitario: características textuales

    La producción textual posee un rol muy importante en la adquisición y transmisión del conocimiento; sin embargo, diversos estudios demuestran deficiencias en esta competencia comunicativa; por ello, surge la necesidad de investigar sobre estas debilidades, pero enfocada en las características textuales de la producción de textos escritos. Por consiguiente, el objetivo del estudio fue describir los niveles de las características textuales en la producción de artículos de divulgación expositiva en estudiantes de una universidad privada en Lima, Perú. El estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental de carácter descriptivo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 109 estudiantes universitarios del II ciclo de la Unidad Académica de Estudios Generales. El instrumento aplicado fue la rúbrica de valoración de textos expositivos cuyo objetivo fue evaluar los artículos de divulgación expositiva, redactados por los estudiantes universitarios. Este instrumento valora la estructura, organización, finalidad, objetividad, tema, audiencia y las marcas lingüísticas del texto redactado. Los resultados demostraron que un 46,8% del total de encuestados se ubicó en un nivel aceptable y solo el 1,8%, en excelente, por lo tanto, se concluyó que los estudiantes evidenciaron deficiencias en el uso de las características textuales al redactar sus artículos de divulgación expositiva. Esto motiva a investigar y trabajar en estrategias, proyectos, programas, módulos o talleres orientados a mejorar esta competencia, fundamental para la formación profesional de los estudiantes universitarios.

    Textual production plays a very important role in the acquisition and transmission of knowledge; however, various studies show deficiencies in this communicative competence; therefore, the need arises to investigate these weaknesses, but focused on the textual characteristics of the production of written texts. Therefore, the objective of the study was to describe the levels of textual characteristics in the production of expository articles in students of a private university in Lima, Peru. The study had a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design of a descriptive nature. The sample consisted of 109 university students from the II cycle of the Academic Unit of General Studies. The instrument applied was the expository text evaluation rubric whose objective was to evaluate expository articles written by university students. This instrument assesses the structure, organization, purpose, objectivity, theme, audience and the linguistic marks of the written text. The results showed that 46.8% of the total number of respondents was located at an acceptable level and only 1.8%, at excellent, therefore, it was concluded that the students showed deficiencies in the use of textual characteristics when writing. his expository articles. This motivates to investigate and work on strategies, projects, programs, modules or workshops aimed at improving this competence, essential for the professional training of university students.
