    En este artículo se analizan las provisiones de cargos de subdelegado dentro de la Intendencia de Ciudad Real, mediante el examen de diferentes tipos de documentos: las hojas de méritos y servicios presentadas por los interesados en obtener un puesto de subdelegado, las ternas elevadas al presidente de la Audiencia para la determinar quién ocuparía el cargo y los nombramientos en el periodo comprendido entre 1786 y 1821.

    This article analyzes the provisions for subdelegate positions within the Ciudad Real Intendancy, by examining different types of documents: the merits and services sheets presented by those interested in obtaining a subdelegate position, the shortlists raised to the president of the Audience to determine who would occupy the position and the appointments in the period between 1786 and 1821.
