  The dossier “Cinema and Cultural Studies: perspectives in debate” contributes to the expansion of investigations that take moving images as sources and points of reflection. Likewise, the renewal in the so-called Human Sciences presents new and new subjects, concepts and themes that problematize positions hitherto understood as subalternity and that come to be read as resistance and confrontations with power.

  O dossiê “Cinema e Estudos Culturais: perspectivas em debate” contribui para a ampliação das investigações que tomam as imagens em movimento como fontes e pontos de reflexão. Do mesmo modo, a renovação nas chamadas Ciências Humanas apresentam novos e novas sujeitos e sujeitas, conceitos e temas que problematizam posições até então compreendidas como subalternidade e que passam a ser lidas como resistências e enfrentamentos ao poder.
