  • Resumen
    • Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) programs, as a result of regulatory pressure and owner/operator concerns about long-term liabilities, is going to become an institutionalized part of landfill construction processes. However, the quality and effort dedicated to the CQA programs varies greatly across the different countries and in some zones of Spain is equal to zero. The cost of CQA programs should be increasing in order to become a significant portion of the cost of landfill liner construction. This paper reviews a standard program for geosynthetic's CQA and general concerns about quality assurance. Lastly, the authors share their opinion about materials and processes to control in a case study
