Evangelización-acción y el proceso migratorio

    La acción promovida por diferentes actores de Organizaciones Basadas en la Fe (jesuitas, franciscanos, dominicos, escalabrinianos, diócesis y organizaciones de seglares católicos) nos muestra un ejemplo de renovación del proceso de evangelización. Es un ejemplo de lo que se ha denominado teología de la acción (reflexionado especialmente desde la Pontificia Universidad Xaveriana, en Co-lombia). La evangelización-acción se inserta en un proceso amplio de re-flexión y acompañamiento a los migrantes. Este esfuerzo no es nuevo, y la Iglesia católica ha prestado especial atención al fenómeno con la creación en 1970 del Pontificio Consejo de la Pastoral para los migrantes e itinerantes (re-formado en 2016 por Francisco en la Sección Migrantes y Refugiados de la Curia Vaticana). No pretendo aquí realizar un estudio de caso del actuar de las Orga-nizaciones Basadas en la Fe, sino reflexionar en torno a la renovación evangeli-zadora que posibilitan. El presente artículo muestra a través del estudio de textos del magisterio cómo esta atención al migrante nos ofrece una propuesta de di-fusión de la Buena Nueva por medio de discursos u homilías, así como de una nueva manera de acompañar cristianamente, no solamente a los forasteros, sino a todos los habitantes de las periferias existenciales.

    The action promoted by different actors of Faith-Based Organizations (Jesuits, Franciscans, Dominicans, Scalabrinians, diocesans, and organizations founded by Catholic lay people) shows us an example of the renewal of the evangelization process. It is an example of what has been called Theology of Action (especial-ly reflected from the Pontifical Xavierian University in Colombia). Evangeliza-tion-action is part of a broader process of reflection and accompaniment of migrants. This effort is not new, and the Catholic Church has paid attention to the phenomenon since the creation in 1970 of the Pontifical Council for Pasto-ral Care for Migrants and Itinerant People (reformed in 2016 by Francis in the Migrants and Refugees Section of the Vatican Curia). I do not intend here to conduct a case study of the actions of Faith-Based Organizations, but to reflect on the evangelizing renewal that they make possible. This article studies some of the text of the magisterium and shows this attention to the migrant. It offers us a proposal to analyze the dissemination of the Good News through speeches or homilies and as a new way of accompanying by Christian way, not only for-eigners but all the inhabitants of the existential peripheries.
