  • Bioremediation has proven to be a promising low-cost treatment technology for a wide range of contaminated soils. Apart from the well-known aspect of environmental parameters control (pH, water content, aeration, temperature,..), R&D on strategies to enhance bioavailability, and on serious approaches to bioaugmentation will surely expand the applicability of this technology in the near future. One of the current research topics at GAIKER deals with these two aspects of Bioremediation technology.
